Fabulous florals. Hedgerows and gardens are full of beautiful blooms, here are our top tips to bring them into your home.

May flowers for your garden and your home. Here in the Cotswolds hedgerows, gardens and hanging baskets are filled with colourful
flowers and the vibrant green of young shoots and new growth. The reawakening of the
countryside after the dull, muted colours of winter is always a delight, and thanks to our
warm and sunny spring this year the growing season got underway very early indeed. If
you’re of the green fingered disposition there have been ample opportunities to get out
and tend to plants and get those flowerbeds, plots and planters looking good. In fact,
most gardeners and farmers would agree that the recent rain was much needed, as the
ground had dried out a touch too much for plants to thrive!

With summer just around the corner, we’re looking at ways to bring those fabulous
florals into your home with our range of designer rugs and mats. Long summer days
and lighter evenings perfectly suit a design centered on a neutral, pretty palette with
tumbling flowers or vines intertwined with birds and animals. Plus, with our high-quality
home accessories you’ll be able to enjoy a touch of nature in your home all year-round,
and for many years to come. We have rugs to suit every style from classic floral
patterns to bright and abstract designs, so let’s take a closer look…

While most of us adore the sunny weather, it is generally accepted that we will get some
rainy days before the spring and summer are out. When that happens, having a good
doormat to soak up water and trap mud is essential, and that’s why we love the RHS
doormat range from Hug Rug. Their fun floral design is available in two different shades
which you can take a closer look at here.

Timeless florals for classic homes

A classic floral or nature-inspired design is an excellent choice for those who prefer their
interiors to be a little less fashion-led and more about enduring style. Our collection
includes designs featuring some of Wedgwood’s iconic patterns and the brand’s
signature palette, all featured on luxurious 100% tufted wool rugs. We also have
timeless designs from influential Arts and Crafts movement designer William Morris,

including Pimpernel and the Strawberry thief. Whilst some of the Morris & Co rugs may
not be strictly ‘floral’ they certainly tick the box for stylish, elegant and enduring style.
Bright, beautiful and exotic rugs for any home!

Bluebellgray’s designs range from colourful floral patterns such as the Ines or the
Tetbury Meadow, which work perfectly in both contemporary or period homes, to more
striking and bold rugs. Zinnia Twilight features super-scale blooms in a fresh palette of
bold coral reds, sunflower yellows and neutral tones, all on an inky black background for
a modern twist on a signature floral.

For an even more exotic take on natural and floral designs, we adore the Japanese Bamboo and Japanese Floral designs from Florence
Broadhurst. Florence Broadhurst was an Australian designer who had the most
incredible life, singing in Asia in the roaring twenties, opening a finishing school in
Shanghai and dressing the rich and famous of London. When she returned to Australia
she created the gorgeous designs which have now been turned into an eclectic range of
rugs from Brink and Campman which you can shop here.
